Livin’ Like Christ by Trusting Him in the Going.
Luke 5:12-16…Leviticus 14
1- Jesus Christ Trusts Father God
- Jesus is always working to accomplish the will of Father God. John 5:17-20
- Jesus always steps into our circumstance to reveal and direct us to the will of Father God.
- Jesus directs us to His abundant provision.
- Our plans must adjust to His plans. We have to be willing to let go of where we are to get to where God is directing.
- We experience God as we are led by Him, as we wrestle with Him, as we follow Him and as He provides for us.
- Our right response to Jesus’ provision is humility, awe and praise.
2- Trust is the Needed Fuel for Our Journey?
Trust is the active confidence that Jesus Christ is who He says that He is and that He will do as He promises.
3- Trust is Deepened in the Going.
God said to…
Noah. I will save you and your family, and you must go build an ark.
Moses. I am going to save my people, and you must go and ask Pharaoh to let them go.
Deborah. I am going to lead my people to defeat my enemies, and you must lead them into victory.
Jonah. I am going to rescue Ninevah from their sin, and you must go tell them to repent.
Legions. The man possessed by numerous demons asked to go with Jesus and Jesus tells the man to go back to his city and his family; and tell them what God had done.
Mary, the Mother of Jesus. A virgin becomes pregnant is told to go to her family Elizabeth and tell her what God has done.
