Crosswinds offers a Sunday School class for children ages 1-5 every Sunday morning at 9:15 AM, located in the nursery and preschool rooms.

Hello First Look Friends!
Think about the fact that "God is with you wherever you go," (Joshua 1:9, NLT). Isn't that AWESOME! Wherever we go, whether to the pool or to Grandma's house or to church or to school, God is with us. He's always, always, always with us. Always. For preschoolers, we teach this literally. When they stand by the door, God is with them. When they go under the table, God is with them. Wherever they go, God is with them.
This month, preschoolers will learn about the life of Moses. What better way to show how God is with us than to share the story of a man in whose life God showed up big and strong wherever he went. When Moses was a baby, God was there and protected him in his basket. As a young man, God talked to Moses as a burning bush and challenged him to save His people. God continued to be with Moses through the plagues and then sent clouds of dust and fire to lead His people across the desert. God was with Moses ALWAYS!

We have two supplemental resources that you can use to enhance the First Look curriculum this month. Our Look! in God's Book Volume VIII includes the story "Moses Before Pharaoh," which you can use week three of the August curriculum. In addition, you can purchase Look! at Our World Volume VIII, our intro sketch DVD, and use the August intro sketch any weeks you would like in August. You can get your copies of the DVDs at the reThink Store.
Note: Look! in God's Book and Look! at Our World will be combining in
September 2010 with a whole new format to engage preschoolers in the
Make It True section of the curriculum. The new DVD will be published
monthly and include weekly video for both the Intro Sketch and Bible
Story.
Our team will be praying for you to have moments filled with wonder as you give preschoolers a "first look" at the God who loves them, made them, and wants to be their friend forever.
