Well, 26 of our team of 42 are here in Gulfport, Mississippi. We got in Saturday evening in time to enjoy fresh shrimp po'boys (Google this if you have never had one - wow!) and get settled in at the church. The rest of the team will get here later this morning. We are thankful for safety as many traveled through the snow storm Illinois experienced yesterday. Here in the south there is a glowing, fiery ball in the sky they call the 'sun' which is scary for us Northerners....Gulfhaven Mennonite Church has graciously welcomed us here and we are thankful for their wonderful hospitality.

We are looking forward to worshipping with the Gulfhaven congregation this morning and are planning a video call with the Crosswinds congregation as part of our worship together. Later today we are headed out to Billy's house to meet him, check out the work site and poke our toes in the Gulf sand and water. Tomorrow the real work begins bright and early at 7.30am.

Please continue to pray for travel safety, work site safety, good weather and wisdom as the week starts. We wish you were here! More info and pictures to follow....
