Dear Friends,
A few months ago, the Leadership Council agreed that taking turns writing the opening note for the weekly e-letter would be a good idea. Even though I agreed, inside I was very hesitant. This doesn’t come natural to me and I have been struggling at determining what to write during my week. I am not a great communicator or a Bible scholar; but that is ok. We all struggle with things and we are all gifted differently.
We all need to do our part…..our part of God’s story. As Mike Wiese taught us a couple weeks ago, God has chosen to use us to help share His Story with others. We all need to fulfill our role and without us doing our part, the story is incomplete. In addition, it is vital that we not compare our part of the story to anyone else’s. All of our gifts, talents, skills, and life experiences are not alike. There is a reason for that. God created us uniquely. We are all “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14) and He needs our uniqueness to tell His story.
Let’s all do our part and join God in His story.
