God established this church, February 6, 2000, when a group of committed Christians began meeting together to pray.  We committed to seek God's direction on planting a new church in the Bloomington/Normal community.

Our first goal was to seek God's direction concerning the need for a new church in the Twin Cities.  The commitment was to pray, not plan.  We have watched God work!  It's been wonderful to see Him open doors and open hearts!  The result of that season of prayer was the formation of Crosswinds Community Church.
